Frances & Tony had a great day with awesome weather! Wedding at the Cathedral Basilica, reception at Oliva on The Hill with Steak ‘n Shake & the Arch in between! Here are just a few (literally). Will post more this week! Have a fabulous honeymoon guys! Best, Beckie

Where it all began….

What a great night for Kelly & Steve to get married! Here are just a few images, enjoy!

Kelly’s dad (Chuck) passed away 3 years ago. I thought this was a nice way to bring him into the day, Kelly & her mom (Kathy) holding a photo of Chuck & Kathy on their wedding day. (Thanks for the assist Kim!)

The ceremony & reception were co-located at Cardwell’s in Clayton.

I love this photo of Kelly & Steve dancing & laughing together, it’s so them!

This one’s also very Kelly & Steve…

They met at a Karaoke bar, so naturally they both sang at their reception. (And they’re GOOD!)

Steve collects shot glasses….

Back to karaoke….

And then we wrapped up the night…

Kelly & Steve, thank you SO much for letting me document your day! It was fabulous & beautiful – just as you are! Have a wonderful honeymoon, travel safe! Best, ie
Just a few more images from Erin & Matt’s wedding.
Just the essentials…

Matt’s first look…

Seriously, how beautiful is St. Francis Xavier? Incredibly beautiful.

Erin & Matt – what a great day! Can’t wait to relive it through the proofs! Travel safe, see you soon! Best, ie
What a great night! Erin & Matt got married at St. Francis Xavier College Church this evening. Reception followed at Windows on Washington, such a beautiful night. Here are a few, I’ll post more soon. Congratulations Erin & Matt, the day was beautiful and I wish you nothing but happiness!
I think this is pretty common for Matt…

The flowers were beautiful. BEAUTIFUL… I’ll get the name of the vendor for a later post.

Erin, stunning, just before going down the aisle

St. Francis Xavier is truly a beautiful church.

Nice moment of Matt & his mom, what a good son.

Newlyweds!!

Then we were off to Windows on Washington, we took a few photos by the fountain and then upstairs for the party.
Ok, no party pictures yet! I’ll post more soon. Promise. Matt & Erin, thank you so much for choosing me! You two are awesome and I wish you the best! Have a great honeymoon, travel safe & I’ll see you when you return! Best, ie
A few weeks ago I photographed a wedding reception catered by my brother (Chef Andrew, from Andrew’s French Quarter). The reception was in Farmington at a banquet facility called Alexander’s which is part of the Farmington Factory. The building use to be a school, it’s huge and has a wide variety of retail space as well as the banquet facility and an art gallery. I only have photos of the banquet center, but you can learn more about the whole building at www.farmingtonfactory.com.
Enjoy these photos.

The term “banquet facility” is really misleading in this case.

Flowers by Connie Schwent, and they were fabulous!

Andy with the bride groom. As always, it’s a pleasure to work with you Andy!
This is going to be super-DUPER fast. Tonight Stephanie & Eric got married at Peace Lutheran in South County. Here’s some ie trivia: Peace Lutheran was the site of the first wedding I shot in STL… 10-ish years ago. Whoa. Enjoy these images, I’ll post more next week.

I love details…

Stunning.

And he adores her.

Stephanie & Eric, thanks so much for sharing your wonderful day with me! It was beautiful and I look forward to sharing more images! Have a great honeymoon, travel safe & I’ll see you when you return! Best, ie
I’ve just finished updating the wedding section of my website (www.ieimages.com). The portrait section was partially updated about a month ago, still need to replace the category headers for that section. The fine art section is due for an update, that will probably happen in stages. Below are the new images for the wedding and main page categories. Let me know what you think! Have a great day! ie

Yesterday I photographed the Wade family. I first met the Wades in September for Michael & Heather’s wedding. Soon after, Michael’s mom (Becky with a Y) asked me to photograph their *new* immediate family. Below is my favorite of each location and just a few of Lindsey and Olivia.

Ok, left to right we have Carson (4), Lindsey, her husband Dax is standing, Olivia (2) in sitting with Dave, then Becky with a Y, then Michael and Heather. Aren’t they a great looking family? I think so.

One more of the whole group. I love Olivia’s outfit!

Such a sweet moment. Naturally the kids wore down…
But after a little cuddle-time with mom, Olivia was happy as a clam! Thanks for sharing your time with me guys! I know it’s precious with Michael & Heather being out of town. Have a great New Year! Best, ie
Ok, I’m back with more from the Old Cathedral. Starting off with a few shots of Dana – absolutely stunning. I think these are favorites…
I think the Obama traffic made the carriage ride a little hard to enjoy.
But once we got to the church, we were golden.
Of course I never miss a chance to get the Arch in a shot – LOVE it!
Just in case you’re not sure what KIND of silence is appropriate…
The priest, Fr. Denis, is a friend of Jack’s, they were in the seminary together… until Jack met Dana.
The Old Cathedral really is lovely.
The singer is a friend of Dana’s. She was wonderful. If I had audio I would share… really, she’s good. I meant to get her name & info but we both got busy. If someone reading this knows her name please leave it as a comment, otherwise I’ll follow up in a later post, promise. She was really good.
Announcing Mr. & Mrs.!
And out the door they went. I think this is a favorite too.
Great flowers, I love fall bouquets.
Jack’s friends (and his family) are all in Grand Rapids, MI so I made sure to get some shots of the guys just hanging out. They’re all so close, it’s evident how much they genuinely like each other. They’re a fun crowd.
And now for a game I like to call “Who does this person look like?” I know, the title needs help…
Ok, here we have Dana with her new nieces, Emma on the left and Annie on the right. Who does Annie look like? Yep, Dakota Fanning.
Next we have Jack’s mom. Who does she look like? Yep, Joan Cusack.
I hope I’m able to look like this at my boy’s wedding. Mom just looks so happy and content… like she’s really soaking up her time with Jack during the mother / son dance. I’ll be such a mess when Griffin gets married. I know I have many years to wait….
And finally… This is Tony, the best man… he’s been married for 3 weeks. Who does he look like? Yep, a guy named Steve who I use to work with at a newspaper in Illinois. Hey, I didn’t say they were all going to be famous.
Dana & Jack, I hope you’re having a great honeymoon. Travel safe and I’ll see you when you return. Can’t wait to go through proofs!! Best, ie
