Fall Family Portrait Special!

I’m offering a Fall special for family portraits in October! Sessions will be 45 minutes and shot at Laumeier Sculpture Park. Laumeier offers tons of variety and all close together, so we’ll easily be able to get several looks during each session. Dates will be October 9, 16, 23, & 3o. Session fee will be discounted to $125 or, pay the regular $200 and get a proof book (regularly $100) for free. Please call to book! Enjoy these images from Laumeier. Henry!

In February I photographed Louis. And a few weeks ago, Louis returned to me with his entire family in tow! Big brother Henry just turned 5 so special pictures were in order and why not a family portrait too!

We started out a little shy….

This is a very ‘Henry’ look. He’s very (very) smart. When I see this I wonder what kind of complex issue could he be analyzing?

And then, sometimes he’s just a cute, sweet little boy.

And Henry is a great big brother.

He may have started out shy, but we certainly didn’t warp the session that way!

Sofia – senior session!

I absolutely love working with high school seniors and the following session was a blast! Meet Sofia, she’s fabulous!

I really, really like this image. Simple & clean. Nice.

And I love this dress with the stucco walls of the World’s Fair Pavilion.

And I love, love, love this location with the pink sweater! Sofia, wear pink ALL the time!

Baby Ian!

Introducing baby Ian! He’s simply too cute for words! One of my favorite things about my Free February promotion is that I often get connected to brand new clients and I love meeting new people! Katie & Scott welcomed me into their home for this session with Ian. How fun are they? I wish I had a photo of me as a baby like this.

And this one, I think, is my favorite. Ian just is too cute and he’s loving life!

Baby Anna!

I love, love, love photographing newborns. First born or eighth, doesn’t matter, a new baby is a beauty to behold. My latest newborn is Anna. Mom Julie called me in February and I photographed Anna right at 4 weeks.

Look at the pride on Julie’s face. Absolutely beautiful.

And time with dad. Anna is the first grand baby on both sides of her family, lucky, lucky, lucky….

I love me some sleepy baby time.

Especially when they do cute things in their sleep like snort or wiggle. I’m not gonna lie, I still watch my kids sleep.

Best baby blanket ever, EVER. Made by Julie’s aunt (who also made Julie’s wedding dress).

Note the curtains, they coordinate with the blanket. SO cute.

Big girl Lucy!

Oh how I love watching my bridal clients live such wonderful lives! I shot Erin & Nick’s wedding (11/06), then baby Lucy when she was brand new last year and now just before her 1st birthday!

The chair & backdrop were made for each other! And she is just TOO cute!

Little man Louis!

Louis’ mom is an old college classmate who I’ve reconnected with on FB. I’m photographing her best friend’s wedding this fall and Tricia wanted some photos of Louis (whom she feared was suffering as the second child). So I stopped in and we took care of that in no time! This first one is my favorite. Such a sweet moment…

But I also love this one.

What a smile! Louis was enjoying watching cars pass, as I think any boy would.

Jenny D – Senior session!

Baby James & Baby Julia!

Oh how I love babies! And as with many things, 2 are better than 1! (Especially when they don’t wake ME in the middle of the night!) So I got to photograph James & Julia, two of the sweetest 9 months olds I’ve encountered! It was a quick, simple session, done just in front of the door to their house. Beautiful natural light for two naturally beautiful babies. (sigh) Enjoy.

Free baby sessions!

Once again I’m offering free baby sessions during the month of February to all babies under the age of 1. Sessions will be at my studio or in your home. After the initial in-studio viewing images will be put online for 3 months. So save that session fee and spend it on reprints!

Until you get photos of your own little bambino, enjoy these images from last year’s free-ness!
