Jim & Joe, round 2
Jim & Joe
Had a great time with two fine young men this afternoon. Joe is a senior at Lindbergh and (older brother) Jim is just so good looking I couldn’t help but shoot him too.
Below is what we shot at the park, I’ll post the rest later this week.
Meet Jim….
and Joe….
Thanks again for your time! Go Flyers! Best, ie
Guy & Kieran
This morning I photographed an old friend, Guy and his son Kieran. We had a great time so let’s get on to the photos…
Love this first one.

This one too…

Look out girls….

After The Hill, we stopped at Busch Stadium on our way to The Landing. Yes, we carpooled… because we’re green like that.

And there was a jumping contest. Kieran rocked every jump. Guy, just this one. Needless to say, Kieran won.

Kieran makes this face often, so Dad really wanted a shot… I’d give him whatever he wants, wouldn’t you?

Love this one too.

Ending with another favorite….

Guy & Kieran, thanks for playing! Can’t wait to show you the rest of the collection! Best, ie
My too-cute nieces & nephew!
So when your sister (who has nearly single-handedly clothed your two children with hand-me-downs for 4 years) calls you at 10 AM and asks you to fit her in for a session around 11:45 AM, you pretty much say ok without considering if it’s really possible. Such was my life this lovely Sunday AM. I figure if my sister (Jenny) is brave enough to attempt to dress her 4 kiddos (ages 8, 7, 6 & 4) for photos, I should be willing to document the fiasco. And surprisingly, a fiasco it was NOT. It was shockingly chilly, so the session was super fast, but we got everything we needed! What a dream! [We should buy lottery tickets.]
Grace, future President, no doubt.

Holly, never met an animal that didn’t “need” her… future vet, I suspect.

Erin, youngest girl, so look out.

Ben, as much boy as you can handle.

This was accomplished without bribery or begging, because I’m a professional.
And the favorite aunt as long as Lisa’s not around.

This too was accomplished without trickery. I love everyone’s expression, so fitting of each personality.

Sis, thanks for the fun! The kids were ridiculously well-behaved, I hope the rest of the day was just as fabulous! Call when you’re ready to view the rest. Love you – ie
David, Amy, Hunter & Grant!
After my morning with John & his girls, I met up with Amy & her boys (David, Hunter & Grant). Hunter is Mr. Cool, Calm & Collected and Grant – he is a ball of energy. Big thanks to Hunter for showing me some new spots in a park I’ve been to MANY times!

Hunter really is a sweet kid, always encouraging Grant to do what Mom wants. Yeah, he’s really that good of a kid.

Grant cracks me up.

Hunter looks so grown up here.

Nothing like cuddling with mom.

Amy & David, thank you so much for spending time with me. I know your day was very full! You both amaze me with how much you handle and the calm you maintain! I hope you & the boys had as much fun as I did! See you soon! Best, ie
What a fun family! I absolutely love these people!! This session has been a long time coming. I think we started talking about it since I shot Jane’s First Communion portraits in April. So when it rained more of this week, I was a little worried — but the soggy state of the park did not deter us, and we were rewarded with lots of great images. I’m only putting up a few now. I’ll do another post when I finish the entire album.
First up – cool tree.

Love it.

Seriously, how cute are these two?

And the girls… Jane, growing up way too quickly (for me).

Mary Claire – that look is all her.

Wardrobe change and play time, just one for now, I’ll post more later.

John & Annette – thank you so much for your time! I know how precious it is and I’m so honored to document this time for your family. You guys rock! Love you – ie!
Michaela, Matthew, Katie & Brian
What a great evening for a family session! Tonight I photographed Michaela and her kids, Matthew, Katie, & Brian. Group shots were the priority so that’s mostly what I’ll post tonight. I’ll get a second round up later this week. Enjoy!
What a great looking family!

Just one of each kid for now… Matthew’s 15.

Katie’s 13…

and Brian’s 11.

Michaela, thank you so much for sharing your time and family. I hope you love these images, I’ll have more up soon! Best, ie
Ahhhh, reunions! What fun they can be! Sue dated my older brother in high school (in the 80s, and I thought she was SO cool), everybody grew up, years passed and then Facebook led our paths to cross. And yesterday I photographed her family!! So fun!
Very first frame! (AYKM? No!)

Kiddos! Danica & Mason were SO fun and funny!!

Those curls (sigh)…

Mason is cool, seriously.

Siblings….
.

He tolerated the affection well, what a good big brother.

A new favorite location.

Sue!! Thank you so much for sharing your family with me!! I hope you absolutely love these images! Best! ie
Joseph, Sophia, & Nick
I’ve photographed Joseph, Sophia, & Nick several times and each time I love them just a little bit more. The kids were total troopers during the entire (hot) session. Thanks guys! Mom (Julie) and Dad (Matt) wanted these photos shot with the kids still had their summer glow – smart move, they look so great!
We’ll start with my favorite…

Joe, going into 4th grade this Fall.

Sophia, 3rd grade.

I love this look.

And Nick, way too sweet.

He’s totally rocking the beach bum look.

Just a few more of all 3.

Thanks for your time guys! Have a great school year! Best, ie
Mitchell & Dean!
Yesterday I got to photograph two of the cutest boys I know (2nd & 3rd to my own son!). Their parents, Justine & Jeff, are great friends of ours. It’s a special honor to photograph a friend’s family. So before I get sappy, let’s get to the boys…

Mitchell is 4 and Dean (below) will be 2 next month. Where has the time gone?

The heat was so bad we knew we wouldn’t have much time outside, so we did some shooting in the studio as well. I’m glad we did, got some nice moments.

I love when kids are comfortable enough to show me how they really feel.

And then we went outside…

Justine, thanks for your time! I not only love shooting the boys, but I love seeing you parent – you rock! Best, ie
