Baby Anna!

I love, love, love photographing newborns. First born or eighth, doesn’t matter, a new baby is a beauty to behold. My latest newborn is Anna. Mom Julie called me in February and I photographed Anna right at 4 weeks.

Look at the pride on Julie’s face. Absolutely beautiful.

And time with dad. Anna is the first grand baby on both sides of her family, lucky, lucky, lucky….

I love me some sleepy baby time.

Especially when they do cute things in their sleep like snort or wiggle. I’m not gonna lie, I still watch my kids sleep.

Best baby blanket ever, EVER. Made by Julie’s aunt (who also made Julie’s wedding dress).

Note the curtains, they coordinate with the blanket. SO cute.

Ritu & Markus – engaged!

This past weekend I photographed Ritu & Markus’ engagement photos. The weather was a bit chill, but they were troopers.

Are they not totally adorable? And Markus was functioning on maybe 4 hours of sleep, never complained once, not once!

After time at one park, we went to another park! Seriously, Ritu & Markus, you two are just so good looking! I can’t wait to see your babies!

Susan & Ryan – married!

Somewhere in the rush that was Thanksgiving to Christmas, I neglected to blog one of my favorite weddings of last year. Forgive me for such tardiness! Susan & Ryan were married last November at the lovely Chandler Hill Winery in Defiance, MO. First, some lovely details…..

Gorgeous flowers by Belli Fiori. By the way, if you ever, ever need flowers, call Lisa at Belli Fiori. I’ve worked with her on several weddings and have always enjoyed the experience. And obviously, her work is beautiful. And I have another wedding with her this year, yay me!

Big girl Lucy!

Oh how I love watching my bridal clients live such wonderful lives! I shot Erin & Nick’s wedding (11/06), then baby Lucy when she was brand new last year and now just before her 1st birthday!

Little man Louis!

Louis’ mom is an old college classmate who I’ve reconnected with on FB. I’m photographing her best friend’s wedding this fall and Tricia wanted some photos of Louis (whom she feared was suffering as the second child). So I stopped in and we took care of that in no time! This first one is my favorite. Such a sweet moment…

But I also love this one.

What a smile! Louis was enjoying watching cars pass, as I think any boy would.

Baby James & Baby Julia!

Oh how I love babies! And as with many things, 2 are better than 1! (Especially when they don’t wake ME in the middle of the night!) So I got to photograph James & Julia, two of the sweetest 9 months olds I’ve encountered! It was a quick, simple session, done just in front of the door to their house. Beautiful natural light for two naturally beautiful babies. (sigh) Enjoy.
