Okay, I haven’t finished editing this session, but I want to get a few images up because there are so many that I love. I shot Heather & Michael (Mike to friends, Michael to family) this past weekend. They live in Seattle but grew up here. They attended the same church as children and were even baptized on the same day but didn’t realize it until they started dating! How crazy is that? There is more to the story but I don’t want to get it wrong so I’ll post it when I post more from this session. They’re very upbeat, happy people, so when I asked them to not smile, the didn’t look anything like themselves. Therefore, you get all smiles – not a bad deal when you think about it.

They wanted something that would remind them of STL while in Seattle – I think we got it.
We saw these doors at the beginning of the session but the sun wasn’t right so we said we’d revisit the spot later. We almost didn’t come back to it, but I’m so glad we did. I think this is one of my favorites. Thanks Heather & Michael! See you in September! – ie
Kendra is a good friend of mine. We have kids the same age and live nearby so we do play-dates as often as possible. We did this session on July 5th… just after we’d had our families out late the night before watching fireworks. Our original plan was to have the whole family at the session, but due to the late night, we ended up just shooting Kendra. We’ll get the kids (and Turk) another day. Kendra thanks for such a fun morning. Can’t wait to meet baby Gabe!

Sorry to have gotten a bit behind on blogging! I’ve got several shoots to post! First up is Sarah & Brian. I met them through Denny, he knows Sarah’s super-creative dad, Rick. Sarah & Brian live in Sacramento. They’re planning a really fun wedding for August! Looking forward to it guys – see you then!

I don’t normally go for the “be cute near a tree” kind of shot… but Brian is just so sweet to Sarah, clearly he adores her…. so it all works.
