Audrey

My best friend Amy & her daughter, Audrey, came over for dinner tonight. It was raining (barely) when they arrived so Audrey showed up at my door wearing this adorable hat and holding her too-cute umbrella. It was the cutest, funniest scene ever! So I grabbed my camera and asked her to take a walk with me. And this is what we got!

Sorry to have gone MIA for a while, lots of stuff going on, I’ll try to be a better blogger.

Best, ie

Isn’t this the sweetest face ever?

I think this is my favorite.

Missy & Jim – Married!

I shot Missy & Jim’s wedding today – what a great day it was! They got married, then we went for drinks & ice cream then on to the reception – lots of fun! I’ll post a few now and more tomorrow. Enjoy! Congrats Missy & Jim and thank you so much for sharing your day with us, we had a really great time. More tomorrow!

Missy’s son Brak gave her away. Such a special moment….

After the wedding we did some portraits in old St. Charles and took a break from the heat by getting a drink at The Vine.

Great shot of the couple.

Don’t forget – more tomorrow! And I’m shooting an engagement also (on Sunday) so that’ll go up too. – ie

Lunch with Julie & Nick

I had lunch with friend & client Julie Devoti last week and she brought her too-cute 4 year old son, Nick. We had lunch at Newstead Tower Pub, which is owned by Julie’s husband Matt & his brother Anthony (the chef). The pub is really nice, lots of warm red & wood tones. I had the cheeseburger ( Julie had a salad) but I plan to go back for the fish & chips. You can check out their whole menu, as well as their other restaurant Five in the Grove at newsteadtowerpub.com. BTW – Denny & I went to Five last year for our 5th anniversary, clever huh? I thought so. If you go to Five, you MUST have the tomato salad… when it’s in season of course. Enjoy these shots, love those blue eyes!
